The Deck at LaVelle Vineyards

The deck at the top of LaVelle Vineyards was built in June of 2009. The idea of the deck originated shortly after Matthew and Ashley LaVelle were engaged in 2008. They wanted a beautiful place to get married, and under the shade of the Madrone tree at the top of LaVelle Vineyard was the perfect place. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything but dirt under the tree, and with the entire wedding party all dressed up they needed to come up with a plan to spruce up the area a bit!

 

Enter Ashley's Dad Tom Fountain. A master builder and contractor, Tom drew up the plans and then built the deck with the help of Matthew LaVelle. The deck project was a success, and Matthew and Ashley became husband and wife there on July 11, 2009.

 

The deck at the top of LaVelle Vineyard is now available for customers to enjoy views of the vineyard, and up over the other side of Demming Ridge the view extends out onto Fern Ridge Lake. In the summer time, guests can sit on the deck and view sailboats on the lake in the distance while they enjoy a glass of wine and perhaps a picnic lunch.
